Design is something I have always had an eye for and my training at The Fashion Institute of Technology plus my real world experience has helped grow my skillset.
My strong skills in Adobe Photoshop for photo retouching, editing and manipulating, Adobe Illustrator, for custom logos, and hand drawn elements as well as many other uses, Adobe InDesign, primarily for layout purposed such as magazine spreads, print design, brochures, invitations etc. Along with Microsoft office and its capabilities for formatting documents and creating presentations. I pick up new skills easily and quickly and am always willing to learn more. In my past career experience, I have worked on logo design, brochures / rack cards, pitch books of 100+ pages, medical marketing, direct mail pieces, marketing campaigns, branding of properties and developments, Federal white papers, government contract proposal formatting, as well as all company design needs to help globally market the company and its projects. I have also worked with mail chimp and handled daily email blasts to over 50k email subscribers along with designing a catalog and helping to maintain an online store for a private jewelry line. I have experience with social media as well. I love working on new and exciting projects and being able to express myself visually.
I learn new techniques every day, strengthening my abilities as a designer as well as working with social media, marketing, and seeing projects from start to finish. One of my proudest moments was having a piece of mine featured in The New Museum in NYC and auctioned off with the proceeds going to charity.
My expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, Microsoft office and more help me to stand out amongst my competitors with 15 years of knowledge using these programs.
